How to bulk associate files with deals?

Apologies if this has been answered before but I couldn't find a definitive answer anywhere so thought I'd ask anyway.

I've migrated an associates CRM over to HubSpot all fine and dandy, however they want to bulk upload files and associate these with the relevant deals.

I've managed to get the files into HubSpot (approx. 1900). However, I can't seem to figure out how to automate/bulk assign files to their deals as attachments. There are approx 1,100 deals so I do not want to spend several days manually attaching the files as it's simply not productive however they need the files for their reference process.

Has anyone come across this challenge before? Managed to solve it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I used Files API, Engagemnts API and Search API.

The only way to do that is over API. If you do not want to spend your time on it - there are services that can help you bulk upload files and associate those to relevant contacts, deals.

You're welcome! I've done a number of such migrations through Import2
It's a paid service, but they get the job done.
