We have sales leads that have closed Lifecycles that come back to life after long periods and we need to automate that change. We made this rule but this is the errore we get. Is there another way?
If you want to set the lifecycle stage back (to an earlier stage), you first have to use the "Clear property value" workflow action, to empty the value in the lifecycle stage property. After doing so, you can use the "Set property value" workflow action.
Keep in mind that this will erase the date information associated with the contact entering the stages and this might influence your reports. (Setting contacts back in lifecycle stage generally does this.)
