How do I search for Views?

Coopr

When I look at Views, I see them in a bunch of Tabs across the top (see screenshot)

How do I search the names of all my Views?

My team has LOTS of Views, and they are struggling to find the ones they want by clicking on tab after tab.

Hi @Coopr,

Click the + icon to the right, click 'Add view' and you'll get a search field:

Hey @Coopr . Karsten already gave you the exact trick, and it’s one of those things that’s oddly hidden if you don’t know it exists.

The important detail is that there is no global “search all views” bar. The only place HubSpot lets you search view names is inside the Add view modal. Clicking the + icon isn’t just for creating new views, it also acts as the view directory and search layer once you have lots of them.

One extra tip that helps teams with view sprawl: consider standardizing naming conventions, like prefixes such as REF -, SALES -, CS -, or stage-based tags. Once you’re using the search box Karsten pointed out, consistent prefixes make finding the right view much faster.

Unfortunately, there’s no way today to collapse, group, or bulk-manage views beyond that modal. Once you hit a few dozen views, this workaround becomes the de facto way everyone navigates them.

Good question to surface though, a lot of teams run into this as HubSpot usage matures.
