How do I get the same activity to show for contact AND deal

Hi all,

I have a contact, let's call him Bob. I also have a deal created and associated with said contact Bob. When I check the activity for the deal, I don't see all the emails and notes that have been sent/written to/about Bob.

They used to show up, as in, the very first emails that went out to Bob showed in both his contact page and in the deal page associated with the company. But they've since stopped.

Any ideas how I reconnect this? It would be ideal for simplicities sake to be able to click into either the deal or the contact and have the same information at my fingertips. Thanks

Should happen automatically (in some cases). However, you can also set associations with notes, emails, and deals manually.
