Hi! - I am brand new here, and whether short-term or long-term will depend on you all... I am the head of a very small non-profit ministry (in fact, I only do this part-time), and we provide training and reference resources to church pastors and leaders in the Majority World who often cannot afford them. I recently ran into an add that lured me in by saying "HubSpot CRM - free forever!" and thought I would drop in to have a look. We are totally donor-funded, and have no sales. I currently use MailChimp to send out quarterly and ad hoc mailings to about 280 "interested parties," most of who are supporters only in principle. I would love to hear from other small non-profits about how you use HubSpot CRM and other components, and how our small-but-powerful ministry would benefit from this. Feel free to answer here for everyone's benefit, or privately if you wish. Thank you for your time and counsel! Don
One of the best things that HubSpot brings to any group is data organization. MailChimp is suitable for sending emails but not as a CRM.
I recommend utilizing contact and company properties to segment data into specific groups. Check out this help article on how to create and edit properties.
Connecting HubSpot with your website, email, and CRM data will give you a better holistic view of each contact (and company). How are they engaging with your emails, website, and anything else you push out?
What I've seen is that when groups move from MailChimp into HubSpot, execution is faster, and there's less importing/exporting happening as well.
Hi @All, does anyone have any non-profit user experience that they can share with me on this? I just sent a newsletter out today, and it took nearly no time to create and edit in MailChimp, so if I were to switch to HubSpot, would this still be as easy, and what other benefits would I get?
