Hi @UsamaDXB in order to change the lead status, the user would need edit access to the contact. Unfortunately HubSpot permissions doesn't have the granularity to only allow a user to edit a specific property on a contact record, the only way a user could edit a property on a contact record would be to allow them full edit access to the contact. You can limit edit access to only owned, or everyone, but there's no way to allow for edit access on only one specific property.

To let your employees change the lead status in HubSpot CRM, you'll need to give them edit access to the contact records. HubSpot doesn't allow you to set permissions for editing just one property like lead status alone. Users will need full edit access to the contact records to make any changes.
Here’s how to do it:
Open HubSpot CRM:
Log in to your HubSpot account.
Go to User Permissions:
Click on your profile picture in the top right corner, select "Account Settings," and then head to "Users & Teams."
Adjust Permissions:
Find the user you want to modify. Under "Permissions," make sure they have "Edit" access to contacts. You can limit their access to "Owned contacts" if you want to restrict their view.
