Hello, we have our settings so that everyone can view all companies but can only edit their own companies however if we want to restrict one company from being viewed by anyone but the management team is that at all possible or woud you have to change the whole settings so that everyone can only view their own companies? We want to avoid this option if possible as it is only on a rare occasion that we need to 'hide' attachments or certain emails from anyone but management to see?
Have you considered using teams in HubSpot to manage visibility restrictions? By grouping users into teams—such as a dedicated management team—you can adjust permissions to allow them to view and edit only the companies they own and those assigned to their team.
In your case, you could set the "View and edit" permissions to "Their companies and the ones their team owns"—this way, management retains access while restricting visibility for others without having to change global settings.
Let me know if you need any help setting this up! 😊
Hey @SKeohan currently there is no way to set up just a few companies to be viewed by one team.
The only option is to edit the permissions, as you mentioned. But that is precisely what you want to avoid.
Unfortunately, there is no way to do that, you would need to use a model where users can only see their owned, or team-owned companies (As @CarolinaDeMares mentioned)
