Help sending emails from deals by getting associated company emails

We have clients that need to receive order confirmations (order confirmations are email templates) based on email addresses found on a company. These order confirmations need to be sent out when a deal is in a specific stage and in a specific pipeline. Workflows don't have any trouble doing this, but what I can't find out how to do is grab a custom field from the company that the deal is associated with. All that's available is "all associated contacts". Is there a way for me to grab all of the emails of the associated company (stored on a custom field) and send out an order confirmation to those emails?

No, as far as I know, this is not possible. Email sending in HubSpot is entirely contact based. You would have to make sure that a contact is created with that email address and potentially an association label you can reference in your deal workflow. This could be easily done with a company based workflow and the "Create record" workflow action.

The only exception to the contact-only-email-sending is the workflow action "Send internal marketing email" which accepts custom properties as recipients. However, this is not  meant for external emails and is nly available in contact based workflows.

By the sounds of it you are doing a company workflow? How are contacts associated to deals?

The easiest way would be a deal based workflow that either sends to all associated contacts of the enrolled deal or those contacts associated via a specific association label.

Or alternatively do a contact based workflow but that gets a bit tricky when contacts need to re-enrol for repetitive/multiple deals.
