Have HubSpot bot appear in Chat for Microsoft Teams as opposed to Teams

SOLVE

Hi all,

I have Teams integration and I have configured a workflow to show alerts in a Teams channel.

This is working fine however, I would like the message to appear in the main Chat window where all the other users as well as group chats.

This is so that the suers don't have to navigate to the Teams section to action alerts and stay within the main chat window which provides an easier collaboration experience.

Is this possible to move the Hubspot bot to appear in the Chat section of Teams ?

Hi @Stanza

To set this up, you'll need to configure your inbox channel where you'll manage the chat. Once the inbox is ready, you can assign incoming chats to different teams or individuals, ensuring that the right people handle each conversation. This helps streamline your communication and keeps everything organized.

Hi @Stanza and thanks for the tah @kennedyp !

Please see the attached knowledge base article for instructions on setting this up.  Note that it is imperative that you select the full install of the integration to accomplish this, so if you did not you may need to remove and reinstall the integration.

Hope this helps!

Hey @Stanza -- thanks for your question. Sounds like you are trying to get HubSpot conversations to show in the Chat section of Teams. Let's invite some integration experts to see if they are aware of any options! @karstenkoehler, @trevordjones, @MatthiasWeber any insight as to if this is possible?

Best,
Kennedy 😊
