Handy way of bulk deleting spammy contacts that come from manual submissions

We receive lots and lots of form submissions from companies trying to sell SEO, guest postings or link building services. They always are sent from Gmail, iCloud or other non-company email addresses.

They are a pain as they skew my reports on enquiries to leads as well as clogging up my database of contacts.

I've managed to find an efficient way of cleaning them out by creating an active list and applying a filter on the Contact Message property using the keywords that are often used in forms.

I made the list active so that any new form submissions that are spammy automatically enroll in the list.

Now I can simply do a quick review of the list once a week and do a bulk delete. This is much easier than picking your way through individual records.

Hope this is helpful!
