Handling Contacts

SOLVE

Hi,

Is there an effective method to handle different contact types?

I work in finance, where any deal will have three contacts: the client, the financier, and the lawyer.

I want the financier and lawyer not to appear as clients to be sold to or in the deals pipeline.

I want to link the financier and lawyer contacts to the client, who will also be the deal. I plan on setting up marketing and automation for all three contact types with some content targeted at all three together.

Thank you,

Hi @Mowgli,

You can create and use specific association labels to link contacts to deals in your use case.
These association labels can be used in lists for creating targeted campaigns to all three groups.
The list could also be used to filter contacts in views.

Hope this helps!

Hey @Mowgli

have you tried using the property "Buying Role"?

There you can different the different roles of contacts during the buying process (decision maker, obstructor, legal...and so)

You can also create Association labels (more info here)

This will help you clasify better, automate and report.

Hope this helps.
