HELP! My emails won't stop coming into the system for non leads

I've asked for help on this and I'm at my wits end.  I love this product, but we are not ready for the paid version for me to get help.  ALL of my emails from everyone are coming into the system and creating contacts.  How do I make this stop? All other systems I could tell it to ignore them if they are not already entered.  Please help!

Hi @THawkins 

 

In addition to @crispyGTM's recommendation can you confirm if how you have connected your email?

 

HubSpot provided two options: 

1. Connecting a personal email

2. Setting up a conversations inbox

 

From what you are describing it sounds like you have done number 2 instead of number 1.

In addition to @crispyGTM's recommendation can you confirm if how you have connected your email?

 

HubSpot provided two options: 

1. Connecting a personal email

2. Setting up a conversations inbox

 

From what you are describing it sounds like you have done number 2 instead of number 1.

You were correct.  We use gmail and I had used the conversations inbox.  I have corrected that.  Thank you!

Thank you! I was able to make some changes.  I think those were the settings I was looking for.  Resolved for now, I think.
