HELP FREE CRM - Contacts not loading for some users.

We are having a problem with some users being unable to see their assigned contacts. Their settings for the crm contacts are set to view 'owned only' and the contacts page displays 'Sorry, that didn't go according to plan' however, when they are changed by admin to view 'everything', they are able to see all contacts including their own. This problem is affecting some users but not others (even with all the same settings) as some user accounts are still working as normal. I have already tried updating chrome and disabled extensions, cleared all browser cahe and history, flushed DNS, tried using Microsoft Edge. I can't think of anything else to try. I need the affected users to be able to see their own assigned contacts only. Also I've checked that all filters are cleared. Any help would be much appreciated.CRMprob screenshot.jpg

"We've identified an issue where some object data is not up to date for some customers. We've addressed the problem and are updating all data from the last 24 hours that was affected. This may take a few hours to complete."
