Google Calendar connection

When completing all the instructions to connect my Google calendar, it appears as if I am done.  However, when I go to set up a meeting it transfers me to the Calendar set up and there is a message that says Your Calendar is not connected. (I performed the process multiple times)

Not sure what I am doing wrong.   I confirmed I am using the correct email.  I also confirmed giving Hubspot permission to access my google account.  Im befuddled.....

Hi @RGutierrez69!

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue - how frustrating! Here are my suggestions right off the hop:

1. Clear Browser Cache and Cookies

Sometimes HubSpot's connection with Google Calendar can be affected by stored data in your browser. Clearing your browser cache and cookies might help reset the connection.

  • Go to your browser settings.
  • Clear cache and cookies for all time (or at least for the period since you started encountering the issue).
  • Try reconnecting your Google Calendar after that.

2. Ensure Correct Google Calendar is Selected

Even if you gave permission to the correct Google account, ensure the correct calendar is selected within HubSpot. (Please note: calendar sync will only sync with a user's primary calendar. If a user has multiple cal...)

  • Go to Settings > General > Calendar in HubSpot.
  • Confirm the correct email address and calendar are connected and selected as the default.

3. Try a Different Browser or Incognito Mode

There may be a browser-specific issue preventing the connection. Try setting up the calendar connection in a different browser or using your current browser’s Incognito/Private Mode.

4. Check Calendar Permissions in Google

Make sure that the specific Google Calendar you’re trying to connect is properly configured:

  • Go to your Google Calendar.
  • Check the settings of the specific calendar to ensure it's shared correctly (especially if using a shared calendar or if the calendar permissions are restricted).
  • Try connecting a different calendar (even if just temporarily) to see if it’s a specific issue with one calendar.

5. Verify HubSpot User Settings

Make sure you’re logged into HubSpot with the correct user who has the appropriate permissions to connect the calendar.

  • Go to Settings > Users & Teams and ensure you have the necessary permissions.
  • To connect your calendar, you must have Personal email access granted in your settings.

I hope this helps - you've got this! 📣📈🎊
