Global-Stop Automatic Contact Creation from Email CC
Is there a way to globally stop all auto contact creations of new emails that are CC'd? Basically - to block any new contacts in the CC field of the email.
We send out contracts and documents that are CC'd to all sorts of people (law firms, non-related advisors, outside consultants, etc.) that should never be in our CRM. When they are created, this causes more work for our sales team and marketing is going bonkers filtering out undesired contacts for every campaign while bloating our db with irrelevant data and intel.
If this is not already an Admin/Super-Admin function, it really should be. If it exists, can someone point me to the KBA?
Thanks.
EDITED TO ADD:
The feature request is: GLOBAL setting by Admin/Super-Admin to avoid new contact creation from the CC field of ANY email. (regardless of the sender or application used)

ave the same issue, it also seems that after I went through the hassle of making sure, all teams have the 'New contacts' option in the Outlook extension unticked, it re-appears months later....

We do not use Chrome. The supplied link doesn't solve my issue. A 'delivered' solution for a service our firm doesn't use does not help.

TYVM.
Why HS isn't doing something for one of the biggest business tools is beyond me. And yes, this -does- affect our domain's gdpr and ranking (some have already greylisted our domain).
The option to exclude contacts in CC from email logging is available in the HubSpot Sales Chrome extension: see this ideas post for more information. With the Outlook Sales add-in, you can choose the recipients' associated records where you'd like the email to log before sending.
I'll double check, but I believe there's currently no way to set this globally for all users. You could, however, exclude recipients from CRM email logging by adding them to the account's Never Log list.

Our team has made it a habit to look over all CC'd contacts and delete them if they were created (time and time again).
We've also turned off marking all new contacts being added as marketing contacts - to keep control of that metric. However, then our Marketing team has to go through and qualify contacts for marketing initiatives... which is also a hassle. It is almost a full-time role to simply go through contacts and mark-research-delete the multitude of CC'd individuals that shouldn't have been created in the first place.
