Give Activity "Credit" to Multiple Users

SOLVE

We have multiple attendees from the company attending meetings.  We need both to get "credit" for attending that meeting in their activity report.  We thought that by clicking and adding them as an attendee it would record it for them.  What is the best way to do this rather than having each of them log a separate meeting?

Thanks for the tag @BérangèreL, I wish I had a better answer @ASeymour52, as mentioned there isn't a way to do this currently. I've upvoted the idea as well!

Having all attendees log a meeting will add a lot of friction to your team and you'll likely get inconsistent results (some will remember, others won't)

What type of meetings are they needing credit for?

Is it once per deal or multiple times per deal?

If it is only one meeting per deal (or similar):

One possible workaround would be to create a custom property for "team member A attended", "team member B attended", and so on.

Each would only have their property visible on the deal record and they would  be able to update it to "yes" when the meeting is complete.

There might even be a way to update these properties via workflow based on meeting outcome and attendees...I would need to do some testing to see if the attendees could be surfaced.

If you can share a little more about your use case, we might be able to come up with a workaround.

Hi @ASeymour52,

Sorry for the delay in the response. Thanks for asking the Community!

I checked for you and at the moment this is not possible.

I’ve noticed a similar idea already present in our Ideas Forum: Add possibility to report on meeting attendees. To contribute, you can upvote the existing idea and share more details about your specific use case in the comments.

I also wanted to invite a couple of subject matter experts to this conversation: Hi @Jnix284, @tverdokhlib1 and @GeorgeBThomas can you think of workarounds to help @ASeymour52, please?

Also, if anybody else has anything to add and/or share, please feel free to join in the conversation 🙂

Thank you very much and have a wonderful day!

Best,
Bérangère
