Flagging a Company & all associated Contacts

SOLVE

I need a way to flag a company that would then trigger all contacts associated with that company to be flagged as well. The flag needs to be noticeable, as it is very important that contacts from these companies do not get outreach from our sales team.

Hi @SRucker,

 

You could create custom checkbox company property, 'Unsubscribe associated contacts'. When checked on a company record, this could trigger a contact-based workflow.

 

In a contact-based workflow, you would reference this property and opt contacts out from the One to One sales email subscription type:

That way, you wouldn't rely on a sales rep noticing a flag on a record but HubSpot would prevent a user from sending an email.

 

After setting this up, I'd recommend making sure that it works as intended for you. The exact behavior when a sales rep tries to email an unsubscribed contact might differ depending on your GDPR settings.
