Filtering a view with a comma separated list of company IDs

SOLVE

Is it possible to create either an active list, or a company view where Company ID = multiple IDs? E.g. Company ID is one of Company ID1, Company ID2, Company ID3

The only way I've been able to do this so far is to create a list with multiple OR statements for Company ID, and then create a Company view for companies that are list members of this list....but this isn't scalable:

I have tried importing a single column CSV of Company IDs in the hopes I could then use that as a static list, and then create a company view where the company is a list member of that uploaded list. However the single column upload file fails.

If anyone has any info to share that would be great.

Hi @seliMiles,

You should be able to copy multiple values at once by putting them in one column and filling a second column with semicolons, as shown in the screenshot below:

When you select and copy A1:B4, then paste it into the 'is equal to any of' field in HubSpot, the system should recognize separate values.

Hope this helps!

Filtering a view with a comma separated list of company IDs

SOLVE

Hi @seliMiles - Yes it is possible to create either an active list, or a company view where Company ID = multiple IDs

1. Create a Company property of single-line text type and name it such as "Temporary company id".

2. Create a workflow and set trigger value where company id is known

Then , Copy company property Company ID to company property Temporary company id

3. After creating workflow we create an active list of company view where company id=multiple id

I landed here with the same problem, and the issue is that with Contact ID we don't have the `is equal to any of` option.

Any update on this? That particular contact id field is not taking multiple values. Please update that text box to accept multiple values with OR or semi column seperation.

This is not working for the contact id field, but worked for most other fields. Why is the contact id field textbox set to accept only one value? It does not take more values even on typing manually.

Thanks for the response. For whatever reason I can't get HubSpot to accept it...

Hey seliMiles - I'm sure this is long since resolved (or given up on!) - but I was tackling similar solutions related to copy/paste use of data - for the benefit of anyone else landing on this thread, the problem being faced above is because the field being pasted into is a 'is equal to' field, and not an 'is equal to any of' field. The latter accepts multiple entries, and works fine with copy / paste data from my experience; whereas the former does not.
