Filling a deal property with the latest date of the associated object

Hi there!

In order to get my deal pipeline working, I'm looking for a way to start a workflow based on a deliverydate.

My deals can contain more than 1 product, and due to multiple suppliers it can contain more than 1 purchase order (associated object). Every purchase order has a property with the deliverydate. How can I show the latest deliverydate of all associated purchase orders on the deal, so I know on which date the full deal is delivered?

You can use a custom workflow to update the deal property with the latest delivery date from associated purchase orders. 

Currently, HubSpot doesn’t natively aggregate dates from multiple objects. You can consider using a calculated property or a third-party integration like Zapier to fetch and update the most recent date automatically.

Can you explain how I can create the workflow so that it checks which of the associated purchase orders has the latest deliverytime? Then that value can be pushed to the deal property.

Hey @RvdVelden, 

Currently, since HubSpot’s default workflow actions can’t directly identify the most recent date from multiple records, custom code is the best solution for this scenario.
