Fast lead capture at Trade Shows

SOLVE

Is there a way we can use the Lead Capture form but enable the voice note functionality?

For example, if we scan the business card to create a new contact and add a voice note then we have no way of knowing the lead is from the trade show.

But, if we use the Lead Capture form we create for the show, it's a lot more manual and we can't use the scan or voice note functionality.

Is there a way to either add this functionality to the lead capture form, or a way of tagging the event in any new contacts created so we can then segment to follow up?

Thanks

Hey @Stephanie7 there's two options one, *technically* speaking you can add a voice note to a form but it's a bit of a manual process.
Options 1: You could actually use a file upload field in your forms. You can do this by creating a file upload property, let's say we called it "trade show voice note". You could then get the file of the voice note you've recorded and submit it with the form submission in the file upload field.
Alternatively, if the contact was submitting the form and you wanted to submit the voice note on their behalf after the form submission, you could create another form for your team which just had email and the file upload field. They could then enter the contact's email address and the file upload, HubSpot would recognise this submission as associated with that original contact due to the email address matching. If you went with this method however, I'd recomend temporaily blocking cookies on your browser to ensure these browser cookies don't associate with the contact record.

Option 2: You could very easily tag all submissions to be added to a list, workflow or segmented later on. You could either create a list which just has the "contact has submit form FORM NAME" if everyone will need to have a voice note added, however this might become confusing when uploading voice notes.
One way I would do this is to add a hidden field to your form, use a custom checkbox property, something like "voice note added". You could set the default value of this to "no", so every time someone submits the form they get the property "voice note added" set to "no". You can then create an active list or filter of all contacts with the property "voice note added" having a value of "no". Then, when a team member adds a voice note to each record, they can manually set this property to "yes". This will remove them from this list or filter and only show contacts who have not had their voice note added.

Hope this helps!

Stephanie- Leadbeam.ai does this. You can scan a business card then leave a voice note so that you can leave context of your conversation with the new lead.
