Extract all notes of each Deal when extracting the Deal List

Hello,

I would like to know if there is anyway to include the notes registered in each deal when I extract the list of deals. So far I have been able to extract all fields except the notes, and I would like to understand how to extract them.

Hi @User_servicer,

HubSpot has silently introduced options that allow for exporting notes more easily:

1. Navigate to the deal index page (Menu > Sales > Deals) or any other object's index page
2. Click Edit columns
   
3. Find the Deals -> Notes column, shown below is the contact version
   
4. Confirm, then Export your view
   

In the export file, you should find a column containing notes, separated by semicolon if there are multiple ones. Individual notes seem to be capped at 500 characters.

If notes are longer than 500 characters, workarounds are the following:

• Third-party integrations, such as Ultimate Data Export
• Custom solutions based on the HubSpot Engagements API
• Creating a custom report (Professional or Enterprise required) and export report

At the moment HubSpot does not have a native feature to export engagements ( notes )  from our deals/tickets/contacts/companies.

If you have a developer, it is possible for them to use the engagements api endpoint to get that information.
