Export Deal Line Items

Hi, I am looking for a way to export the line items associated with a HubSpot Deal. I would like to do this globally across all deals but if that can't be done, exporting the deal line items individually per deal would be ok.

Having consulted with support, they say this is currently not possible.

Hi Everyone,

we are currently looking to automate our processes as much as possible.

One thing involves automating the Quote to Invoice Flow. We generate our Invoices via a separate Accounting Software that can be reached via make.com, just as HubSpot can.

I have no issues querying Deals or Line Items via the respective API, but I cannot seem to find a way to query the relationship Line Item <> Deal.

As a result, I want to get all Deals that are "closedwon" with the respective line items. This will then be used to invoice.

Please advise.

Hi @BDebenham,

This is possible but requires the reporting capabilities of a Professional subscription. In such a subscription, you can create a custom deal and line items report and export the report data. https://knowledge.hubspot.com/reports/create-reports-with-the-custom-report-builder

It looks like you're using the free CRM. The necessary features aren't available here, unfortunately.

I have been looking into the same thing as BDebenham to be able to report on line items within each deal. I have the Professional subscription. Would you be able to talk me through creating a report for this? I have tried the custom report builder and it didn't create what I was looking for.

That's right, there is currently no native feature for this. However, you may be able to do this via API (see links below).
For new feature suggestions, I'd recommend first to search and check if this idea is already present on our Ideas Forum here. If you find a similar idea, give it an upvote and share your unique use case in the comments.

If you consider doing this via API, I did find for you these similar threads where the solution from @Levi on this post "Export Line Items" and the solution from @dennisedson on this post "Line item import and export" might help you regarding the use of API.
