Exclusive Region or Site for Customer Tracking

SOLVE

Is there a way in Hubspot to track the information outline Exclusive Geographical or Site locations for customers, some customers will have exclusive rights to certian regions.

Example:

  1. Site Details:

    • Create a new company property for each piece of information:
      • Mine Name
      • Location
      • Date of Exclusive Rights Claim
      • Expiry Date

Would this go under forms? Or properties? Deals?

Exclusive Region or Site for Customer Tracking

@BKlassen you could create custom properties for the company or the deal, depending on how you plan to use the information.

For example, you could use the Date Picker field type for Expiry Date and Date of Exclusive Rights Claim.

For the Mine Name and Location, I would use the Dropdown field type to have preset choices.

If you need to limit what can be chosen, you can also use the Single Line Text field type for Mine Name (rather than a dropdown or checkbox) and require unique values - this would prevent the same value from being used on multiple records, but it could run into consistency/naming issues:

As an alternative, if you're using Enterprise, you could consider creating a custom object that would allow you to associate the mine with the deal/company - if you are, I can share more ideas around this.
