Exclude associated contacts from Deal report

lösung

Hi all,

I want to make a vertical bar report on deals linked to a certain company. In the report I'd like to show the amount of deals that are linked to some of the associated contacts. The thing is that all these deals have multiple associated contacts. So in my report I'd only like to show one of the associated contacts per deal. Is it possible to exclude associated contacts somehow?

Once I filter on the associated contacts the deals are still shown double (with associated contact A & associated contact B).

Thanks in advance!

Exclude associated contacts from Deal report

Hi @NTemmerman,

To create such a report in HubSpot, you can follow these steps:

1. First, access the custom report builder. So move to reports > create report > custom report builder.

2. Choose deals as a primary data source then add contacts as the secondary data source.

3. Make sure there are proper associations between deals and contacts. You can use filters to limit data to one contact per deal.

4. Now apply filters to exclude duplicate contacts associated with the same deal.

5. Select relevant columns like deal name or contact name, etc.

6. Select a vertical bar chart or suitable chart type. Now, configure the chart to display the count of deals linked to filtered contacts.

7. Finally, click save to add the report to the saved reports and export the report data if needed.

I hope this helps, if you need some help, let's talk!
