Excel File Data upload

Hello Everyone,

Need some help! 

I'm trying to upload an excel file containing the basic client information. However, once the file is uploaded, it is not reflecting under the "Contacts" tab. Information like phone no. Company & website are still reflecting as blank. I am required to add these fields again, manually and this process is taking a lot of time. 

Please advise if there is a way out.

Hav you made sure during the import process to map your Excel file columns to the fields where you expect so see the information? This mapping step during the import is crucial.

If yes, have you checked whether there were import errors? https://knowledge.hubspot.com/import-and-export/troubleshoot-import-errors

Sounds like the fields in your Excel file might not be mapping correctly to HubSpot properties during import. Double-check that the column headers exactly match the expected field names. You can also look into using other tools to export data from your Excel file. I've been using one called Coefficient and one of their features allows you to export live data from Excel directly into HubSpot - one of the key benefits is that it gives you a notification of any data validation that needs to be considered before a successful export. This makes it easy to identify whether the data was uploaded.

Hey @VGaur4 

if the info is complete in the csv

and the columns are matched property in the CRM during the import process 

the info should be there.

Unless the format of the info doesn’t match with the format of the property (text to number, date to text, etc)

You can check the errors reports to see HubSpot suggestions.

You can also share a screenshot of you file with us, so we can see if we can identify any obvious mistake.

PS: you can also correct and re-upload your files to get the info updated.

I will figure out the mappinng process. As for the errors, I did not get any errors in terms of making a change in a file. Appreciate your help!
