Enrolling a contact in a workflow from another workflow

resolver

When a contact completes Workflow A, the action will be for the contact to enter Workflow B.  Is this considered a 'Manual' entry into Workflow B or do I need to add an 'Enrollment Trigger' to the beginning of Workflow B? This workflow connection will be the only way for a contact to enter Workflow B.

To enroll a user into a workflow from another workflow, you would need to leave the endpoint workflow (workflow B) enrollment triggers blank, and publish it. From there, you can enroll users into the workflow via the step in Workflow A.

Hi @SBenish,

Yes, you could consider this manual enrollment – no need to set specific settings in workflow B. You would simply leave the enrollment criteria of workflow B empty.

Best regards!

Hi @christopher-RVO & @karstenkoehler,

Thanks for this solution.

However... If I don't set any triggers for workflow B, then contacts won't re-enroll. I also can't unenroll them automatically, because that only works if there is a trigger at the start of the workflow.

I now set a 'bogus' trigger of 'Number of Associated Deals equals 100.000.000', which will never happen. But I'd prefer not to use that.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

If workflow B has enrollment triggers, will this be an issue? Do I need to create a separate cloned workflow with blank enrollment criteria?
