Email from address is not decoding the special character
Hi,
We are using hubspot SMTP to send the email. When user receives the email, the from part is not shown properly.
As you see in image, it was "noreply-" thta "-" not decoding. First we thought it might be gmail problem but when we send from our SMTP that is working fine.
Can you let me know, if it is a problem from hubspot?
Thanks for your patience as I was out of the office.
I found for you this post with the solution from @dennisedson that might help and suggests to try using URL encode. Not sure if it is exactly what you are looking for though.
I also wanted to invite a couple of subject matter experts to this conversation: Hi @mangelet, @MBERARD and @ChristinaKay do you have suggestions to help @DBhavi, please?
If anybody else has anything to add and/or share, please feel free to join in the conversation 🙂
I'd like to ask clarifying questions to make sure I understand what is happening here.
- You are tyring to send transactional emails, right? - How are you sending these emails? Via HubSpot's email function? Via a workflow? Via API? - You are able to send the email fine but once it is sent, the "from" address is not the one you had set up, is that right? - Can you tell me in which particular case the "from" address is working fine? And when is it not working?
