Apologies if this is the wrong place to post, but I'm new to Hubspot and we are looking to automate something....we publish posts into Wordpress via an automated (FTP upload) process which Wordpress then uses to both post this new content on the site and, currently via Sendgrid, send an automated email to some distribution lists including some of the FTP-uploaded content.
I'd love to be able to incorporate this into Hubspot, and use the better audience segmentation/information that this should give. But I'm seeing that it is difficult to automate this through any campaign / workflow setup I can see...they are all either too manual or don't allow for the import of content to the extent we need.
Please let me know - am I missing something, is this impossible in Hubspot or is it something that would need a developer / API work to help implement ? I don't mind doing this latter step, just need to know if that would do what we need.
Depending on your geekiness and HubSpot Portal you could copy all your Blog Posts to HubSpot's Blog then use the Blog Subscription Emails... but obviously that's a lot of work for double handling your blog post. While you could move your Blog to HubSpot I prefer to keep all content on one domain for SEO reasons.
@GEvans0If you want to use SendGrid as an external server for email delivery service, you may be interested in a new HubSpot workflows addon that lets you send emails via SendGrid to your enrolled HubSpot contacts. More details in this post
