Email Sequencing Issues

SOLVE

Hello HubSpot Community! 

 

Having trouble diagnosing a sequencing issue. 

 

1) Do contacts have to be 'marketing' contacts to be added to a sequence? 

2) If not, has anyone seen the below error when trying to add contacts? These contacts are not part of any other sequence so not sure what is going on.

Hi @LLuik,

 

No, contacts do not have to be marketing contacts to receive sequences.

 

Regarding the error message, are you seeing a tool tip when you hover your mouse over the red triangle? It's likely one of these reasons: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/sequences/sequences-error-contact-cant-be-enrolled-in-this-sequence

No, contacts do not have to be marketing contacts to receive sequences.
