I was wondering if there's a way to edit the Line Item Information form. I wanted to add and remove some properties and also rearrange some stuff in there so that it's easier to fill up.
The accepted solution does not sufficiently answer the particular question which is being asked. The columns can be edited to display on the Deal subpage, yes, but when clicking on "Action" on the individual line items, then going to "Edit", the form lists every single property for the Line Item/Product and our instance has a number of properties that are narrow-use cases to help with integrations and reporting. There does not appear to be a way to modify the list of properties which appears in that "Edit Line Item" form so my Sales Team will have to scroll all the way down past 15 scarcely relevant fields to add a note to a particular line item (not the product, as it is a deal-by-deal basis and the notes should be specific to the line item).
Not being able to modify properties available in the Edit Form list seems like a huge oversight given how often the answer to a HubSpot question is "make a custom property!"
I believe you could benefit from the LineNer app. . It excels in handling complex scenarios like the one you mentioned (and works for simpler ones as well).
