Edit Contact Card?

How can I edit the "About this contact (default)" card so that all contacts display properties in the same order? It seems the contact card can only be edited one contact at a time!

Thanks. After some trial and error I edited the Default view for my contacts. HOWEVER, the view for individuals in the left pane did not match the order of the properties in the Default view.

EDIT: I found a setting to OVERRIDE individual settings, which may have done the trick.

Hi @HistoryTrust

you can personalize that section for all users if you are a superamin in your portal.

If you are already in the new record unified page editor

take a look a this video

hope this helps

Hi @HistoryTrust,

This can be done in the record layout editor: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/object-settings/customize-records

You can access this easily by moving the mouse over the section and clicking the gear icon:

Hey there.  I'm looking to do the same thing you mentioned. Would you be willing to share how you performed the override? Any details and steps you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

hi @CDuPaul

when you finish editing the default record view

the screen will ask you if you want to update the changes for every user and overrride their current setup, there you click yes.

If you 've already done it once, it will not show again.

hope this helps

Hi @HistoryTrust

this could happen when a user has personally modified the view

thats because what they change will prevail over the default.

The Override option should work.
