Does a subscription page count as a "link" in an email for filters?

resolver

I'm trying to create a workflow that triggers a re-engagement email with a link to the subscription mangement page. If someone clicks the link, nothing happens. If they don't, they get removed from our marketing contacts.

My question is, is the filter "Clicked the link to Any Link in [email]" going to identify those clickers? Because it seems like HubSpot does not treat subscription pages as "links". For example, there is no filter for "Clicked the link to Subscription Management Page in [email]"

Thank you!

Hi @LBergstrom

The unsubscribe and manage preference links are excluded from click metrics and so don't think you could isolate these clicks in a workflow.

However you can potentially achieve something similar by sending a re-engagement email that doesn't link to email preferences page but rather has a button which links to your blog or a landing page set up for this purpose (as an example) and then base the workflow enrollment off of clicks to that button.

I've done similar where buttons include "#" in the url .

For example

Button 1 says "Yes. I still want to hear from you" with a link = https://yourwebsite.com/blog#stayoptedin

Button 2 says "No. I want to unsubscribe" with a link = https://yourwebsite.com/blog#optout

You can then have a workflow which takes the relevant actions based on last page seen urls which contain #stayoptedin or #optout

Hope that helps.

Clicks only apply to all links excluding the unsubscribe and manage preferences pages.
