Document creation with fields

airwolfke
Contributor

I have a contract, only 1 or 2 pages in Word (.docx) format and I would like to add fields from Hubspot into this document, like name, price of deal,...

Another option would be to recreate the document in Hubspot, I would like to email the document, generate PDF and print it if needed.

Can this be done?

Hi @airwolfke
as this is a real need, we created a new smart app, which is now available in the marketplace. With ChiliDocs you create Word docs in a click! All associated objects, linked to a deal with its properties are available in your word document. Check it out and let me know what you think!
Kind regards,
Roger

Hi @airwolfke

Great to connect with you here!

It's a good question. You can definitely achieve what you're looking for using Portant - you can integrate your HubSpot data into a document template, such as a contract, and then generate a PDF from it.

Just linking you to a video James made (our CEO):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwUrOB0qlC0

Here's a quick overview:

1. Create a Workflow. Start by setting up a new workflow in Portant. You can check out our quickstarter guide.

2. Select Your Source. Choose HubSpot as your data source. This will allow you to pull in fields like the name and price of the deal directly into your document.

3. Customize Your Document. Use Google Docs or Slides to design your contract template. You can insert tags for the HubSpot fields you want to include, such as {{name}} or {{price}}.

4. Generate and Share. Once your document is set up, you can generate a PDF and even automate the process of emailing it. Portant allows you to attach the generated document to an email and send it directly from the workflow.

5. Print-ready. Don't think this one needs much explaining 😉

If you need any help, also linking you to our HubSpot Docs here. Also, feel free to reach out to me at tom@portant.co anytime if we can help get you set up, or if you'd like a demo.

Hope it helps!

Best,

Tom

Hi there,

I noticed that you’re interested in Generating personalized PDFs for HubSpot contacts, and I wanted to suggest trying out “PDF CreateMate”. Our tool is designed to help generate personalized PDFs for HubSpot contacts using custom templates.

If you’re interested in giving our tool a try, we offer a free trial and demo, so you can test it out and see how it works for you. Let me know if you have any questions or would like more information!

Cheers, Raviraj
