Disable “No, Create a New One Button” to Avoid Duplicates
SOLVE
Why for the love of data hygiene gods can't Hubspot admins disable the Gosh, That Looks Familiar... "No, create a new one" button that allows users to create duplicate accounts?
Also, why can't admins also have more options in the settings that would allow a contact to be created in an unassociated state if the contact email domain doesn't match to an existing company record domain.
We have so many low quality duplicate company records being created based on email domains that we have to clean up. It would be so much easier to go through unassociated contacts and associate them to existing company records ex post facto than having to merge a high quality company record with a low quality one and potentially overwriting / losing critical data.
