We are using the hubspot extension with gmail and when logging emails back to deals, all of the attachments from emails that are logged transfer onto the deal.
Because you can't select which attachments you want to transfer to the deal, we end up with 10-15 attachments quite often which aren't needed. In order to delete them and keep the relevant files / attachments, it is an extremely slow process.
We need to click on each attachment, to open another screen, in order to click on delete, and then repeat that multiple times. It is extremely time consuming, and we need a functiont that allows us to click on multiple files and delete them all at once.
It seems like a pretty basic implementation and one that would save us a lot of time.
I work for a HubSpot Diamond Partner. We have developed an app for the marketplace that aims to solve the issue of bulk deleting attachments. Our app allows users to access a CRM card showing all the attachments associated with an object record and easily delete them in bulk.
We are seeking beta testers who can try our app at no cost, provide valuable feedback, and assist us in enhancing the overall usability of the product.
This is a really important request. The fact that every email to a contact gets attached to every deal that is related to that contact is really poor. Certainly not what I expected when the reseller was promoting the product.
So as a minimum, we need a quick way to delete all attachments to a deal and to permit the upload of a fresh set of documents that are relevant to the deal.
I would have thought that Hubspot was smarter than it is and could use embedded text that references the deal number or something similar to work out which deal to attach email to.
