Deleting email associated with incorrect contact and adding it back

Our compies have generic emails associated with contacts. When the email needs to be moved to another contact it is deleted and the added to the new contact.  This was working as long as the original contact has another email.

On this occasion, I can not move the email to the correct contact.  I have tried deleting cookies and cache multiple times. I have rebooted the computer as well.   

Any recommendations?

Have you reached out to HubSpot technical support regarding this? Troubleshooting the specific contact will require having the email address in question.

For confidentiality reasons, I am sending you a pm with our HubID as well as the email; contact it was deleted from and contact we want to add it to.
