Deleting Contacts with the Company

Is there a way to delete a company and associated contacts.   

For example there is a business that has closed and all staff have left.  Is there a way to delete the company and all the employees from the companies tab?   

Or is the only way to delete to go into the company delete the contacts then the company? 

My current workaround at the moment is to name the company "ZZ {company name}" and do the same thing with the preview option for contacts ot hat business and name them all "ZZ {first name}"  

Then I have a saved search for ZZ companies and ZZ contacts that I can bulk delete from. 

Is there a better way?

Hi @RThompson3,

There isn't a default feature for this, correct.

I would approach it slightly differently:

1. Open the company record.
2. In a new tab, create a contact-based list (Menu > Contacts > Lists) and filter for Company properties (for example Name). This will return all contacts associated with the company record.
3. Wait for the list to finish populating, then delete all contacts in the list.
4. Delete company record from step 1.

Similar to yours, minus the renaming records.
