Is there a way I can delete all the tasks for a specific contact?
Here is the long version. Our sales team migrated over from Salesforce to HubSpot. While they were in SF they had email logging turned on. In addition to that, almost every employee was also a contact in SF. Therefore, (and unbeknownst to us) most internal emails were being logged in SF under those contacts...including HR related emails.
When we migrated over to HubSpot, those email records migrated over as completed tasks. (Long story, not important to this issue.) So now our HR employee, who is also a contact in HS, has 100s or 1,000s of completed tasks that are actually emails sent from other employees. Most are harmless, but there's always that chance of a bored employee finding out, then digging through the records.
So again, is there a way I can delete completed tasks for a specific contact?
If you are still experiencing this issue, please let us know. The solution @Krystina suggested for filtering by owner is an option in all subscription levels.
If you can share more around what your end goal is, and how we can assist, that would be great!
I don't want to get too far off topic, but I have seen this in some of my other posts. Somebody posts a potential answer (for which I'm grateful) and then assigns that as a solution. My guess is that the more solutions somebody provides the more points they get in the community. It seems a little self-serving, especially when that wasn't a solution.
As I said in an earlier comment, I don't need to sort by the task owner, I need to sort by the contact to which the task is assigned. I cannot filter or sort by that criteria.
