Delete ONE Task from Contact Record View

Hello

Is it possible to delete only one specific task from a Contact's profile? Or is the only option to go to Tasks and delete the invalid task there?

The only possible actions from the Contact level are: "Pin", "History" and "Copy link".

Removing the association from the Contact does not solve the problem, it leads to the creation of a "trash bin" of invalid tasks.

1. Navigate to CRM > Contacts in your HubSpot account.
2. Click the name of the contact whose task you want to delete.
3. In the contact profile, click Tasks in the middle panel.
4. Locate the task you want to delete.
5. Click the Actions dropdown menu at the top of the task.
6. Select Delete.
7. In the dialog box, click Delete to confirm.

For me this is possible:

If you're not seeing this option, you probably do not have task editing permissions (e.g. if you're not the task creator).

In that case, you're admin would have to adjust your permissions. https://knowledge.hubspot.com/user-management/manage-user-permissions
