How can I use Deal Name to be the unique key for Deals?

To my knowledge, the unique identifier (Record ID) for Deals cannot be changed.

Hi @NicoleHsiao,

This is currently not possible. The deal name isn't unique by default and HubSpot validation rules only allow for setting uniqueness during creation.

What do you want to achieve by making the deal name unique?

If you want to deduplicate deals by deal name, for example, you could look into third-party integrations like Insycle. https://ecosystem.hubspot.com/marketplace/apps/marketing/data-management/insycle
