Deals whose primary contact is not currently in a sequence

Hi.  I have a bunch of deals in a pipeline at a particular stage.  I would like to get a list of all deals whose primary contact is not currently in a sequence.

Possible?  Thanks.

Hi @smk,

Yes, this is possible, although it's not available as an easy-to-access filter.

The first step would be creating a custom property, e.g. Primary contact currently not in sequence with the values "True" and "False". This will be the property you'll use for filtering your deals.

You can then create a contact-based workflow that looks all primary contacts (I chose Buying role in my example, you would replace this with whatever property you use to keep track of who's the primary contact). Additionally, you would use the property Now in sequence to check if they're currently in a sequence.

If both are true, you can update the value of the property created earlier, Primary contact currently not in sequence, to "True". (I didn't create this property in my test portal and just used the Deal Description field for the demonstration.)

You can now filter your deals by Primary contact currently not in sequence is equal to "True".
