Deal inheritance from Company

Newbie and still getting to grips with what is capable.

I have a "payment terms" drop-down on a Company and Deal (with matching values). Ideally I want a new Deal to default to the payment terms of the associated Company, but I'm struggling to figure out how to achieve this using the Workflows.

You may be able to force the default deal property value via the API. However, there is no way to force such a default via the HubSpot UI (or workflows).
