Deal-based workflow for Products A& B fist-time buyers

SOLVE

Hi,

I am trying to build a deal-based workflow with a follow-up email for first-time buyers of Product A and Product B.

Since we have several forms, and some of them are not HubSpot forms, the workflow cannot be contact-based or built around form submissions. The only option I see in this situation is a deal-based workflow with the "Deal on hold" and using Line Items.

Unfortunately, when I test this workflow, it shows an error related to the Line Item.

I have also tried using SKU instead of Line Item, but that doesn't work either, as the SKU property is empty.

Could you please advise on a solution for this issue?

Thank you!

Hi @AVeremjova

This looks good, my best guess would that the line item names don't match.

In the filter you are looking for "65 mm TSA" the actual line item is called "65 mm TSA (Tryptic Soy Agar)... Have you tried using the full name of the product/line item.

Hi @AVeremjova

The issue you're facing when building a deal-based workflow with Line Items for first-time buyers of Product A and Product B is likely related to how HubSpot handles Line Item properties in workflows. Since the workflow cannot be contact-based due to the use of non-HubSpot forms, Ensure the correct Line Item properties, such as product type (Product A or B), are included and properly mapped to the deal in HubSpot. In the workflow, set deal triggers like "Deal stage" and "Line Item contains Product A or B" to accurately reflect the deal status and product purchased.
