I have a deal pipeline loaded with prospects, in board view. I need to reorder the "cards" to show the most important prospects at the top. This turns out to be extremely difficult.
I am able to drag those cards around the board, between columns and rows very easily. That's great! But once I drop the card, only column choice is accepted. The row choice doesn't stick. Once I reload the page, the rows auto-sort based on deal creation date.
This is a really annoying bug. And the fix would seemingly be easy. Get the drag & drop destination to stick.
I can certainly understand your frustration with trying to get your sorting in the columns to stick, I have always preferred board view and was so relieved when HubSpot added the Sort function!
I'm not sure what your criteria are when you drag them to a new order, but if you can create a property associated with this method/process, you could change the sort function to follow that property.

Thanks for sharing! One question here - I apply the sorting I want, when I reload the page (go to another object and then back to deals) the sorting is not applied. Is there an option to make it permanent?
As it is now, everytime I go to a pipeline, I need to set it up over again.
I experience the same issue as EVatsev and would like to have a way to set a 'defult sort' for tables many actions we do cause the page to refrese and the defult view HS is using isn't the best one for my use case so I am obligated to sort the table again and again all day long - very frustrating and could be easily resolved
Hi @dkarpas! I understand you are also looking to custom sort your deals. Jennifer offered a workaround in this case, but if you'd like some fresh eyes and new perspective, I recommend creating a new post with your own use case. Maybe a community member has another perspective and a new post would help with public visibility!
Best,
Kennedy
