Deactivated Owner still appears under the active owner list after having been deleted

How do I remove a former user from being an option in the "__ Owner" fields for Contacts and Owners?


Knowns:

  • The user no longer appears in the Settings > Users & Teams
    • so there's no way to delete them
  • The user is the owner of 0 Deals, Contacts, Companies, Tickets, etc.
  • The user still appears as an option when assigning an Owner (without having to select deactivated/removed owners)
