I created custom fields for companies that include BusinessID, membership start, end, and status. I also created a ContactID custom field for contacts. I'm using a custom report I've created to then import that into Google Sheets (since the excel export doesn't work because of dates).
The organization I'm working with, their companies don't always have unique domains/emails. Hence why I'm using the ContactID and BusinessID from GrowthZone.
Within Google Sheets, I've setup a custom script to send the data to HubSpot. First it looks/creates the HubSpot contact based off the ContactID (from GrowthZone) and then looks/creates for the company based of BusinessID (from GrowthZone) to then create an connection between the contact and company.
This process allows a single individual to be assigned to mulitple companies, which happens with this organization.
I'm happy to talk more details over the phone if you want too. GrowthZone does offer an API (at an additional cost) but I didn't go that way for this organization. This could make it simplier but we are trying to migrate completely away from GrowthZone to HubSpot in the next 6-12 months.
I don't have personal experience migrating data from GrowthZone to HubSpot. However would you be able to tell us what you would like to know about migrating data to HubSpot? Can you please tell us how you would extract data from GrowthZone?
The more information you can provide, the more the community can assist you.
Thank you!
Best,
Kristen

I'm at the very beginning of migrating data from GrowthZone to HubSpot. It looks like I don't have to migrate business addresses to HubSpot, however I have Contacts with different addresses than headquarters. How to I assure myself the Contact address is migrated?
