I know this is probably an Apollo forum topic but looking for help here too...
We recently onboarded Apollo.io primarily for CRM enrichment to help with better lead qualification and segmentation. The biggest task for me right now is enriching incorrect or unknown industry values in our Hubspot.
The issue I am facing is that Hubspot's default Industry field is a dropdown pre-populated with all possible industries. If I try to enrich this from Apollo, it does nothing because I don't think it can enrich to a dropdown but only an open text field. I know this sounds obvious but it's something I clearly missed when making a decision to give the platform a try.
Does anyone have any suggestions how to do this? A possible fix is creating another company-level Hubspot field called 'Industry (Apollo data)', porting all industry values using a workflow and then enriching them from Hubspot. All this is possible but then when I have to reconcile the 2 industry fields in Hubspot I am still stuck with a challenge.
@RMenezes you could create the custom Apollo Industry property in the background and then use a custom coded workflow to match up the industries with the default dropdown properties.

We recently launched a native HubSpot contact enrichment agent, that in the first step, take contact level information you have in HubSpot (gathered from form submissions for example) to find the right LinkedIn profile and then pulls the information from LinkedIn to contact properties (job title and others).
It seems you have decided on Apollo already, but if you would be interested to see how it works, you can try it out here: https://enrichment.sellestial.com/
Hey @RMenezes, thank you for posting in our Community!
One potential solution, as you mentioned, is to create a new custom field in HubSpot specifically for industry data enriched by Apollo.io. This approach allows you to preserve the original Industry field while incorporating the enriched data in a separate field.
