Dark mode theme for HubSpot CRM 🌌🌑

Hey guys, I love HubSpot. It's really easy to use, and the UI design is pretty solid, especially the newer redesign.

However .... the extremely bright colors are blinding at night. I have a triple monitor setup with 3x 4k 27" LCD displays. Most of the applications I use have a dark theme, but HubSpot doesn't seem to.

Can you please add a dark theme 🌑🌌 for HubSpot, so I don't get blinded at night? This is a bigger problem in the Fall & Winter seasons, because it gets dark earlier in the afternoon, and stays dark later in the morning. My eyes are very sensitive to lots of light.

I used Dark Reader a couple years back, then after an upgrade to Windows I thought it was not working.  Yesterday I again spent some time moving all my screens to dark mode.  Some applications make it very easy, so it is really surprising that HubSpot is so slow to move to helping those with vision issues.  I have good vision, but am past mid-age and have noticed that, even though I can see the screen okay, I tend to tire and get restless, not wanting to work if the screen is bright.  My whole face relaxes when the screen is a black background with light text.  Dark Reader has an easy interface and a method to control just the HubSpot screen, with a back background AND has a Sepia setting to make the text a softer off-white, and you can control the brightness of the text.  I will report back, but I am glad I found it again.

I love this idea as well. I suffer from regular migraines, and a dark mode is a must on all productivity apps for me. A browser extension/plug-in is managable, but that means I have to get my IT involed.

Try installing/using the "Dark Reader" extension for Chrome. Hubspot looks pretty good in Dark Mode with this on.

In the meantime, consider trying dark-mode browser extensions. They may not work perfectly, though.

These requests submitted to the HubSpot Ideas section of the community are reviewed by the HubSpot product team, based on their popularity and the assumed demand. I'd recommend commenting and upvoting.

I just want to move the needle on this since generally speaking those with visual impairments need this. It's becoming almost standard for accessibility and I'm hoping this can be pushed along at a much faster rate. Other options do offer this within their CRMs.

I'm having issues with the brightness and. font contrast as well. Please add a dark. mode or stop using soft. text color. Visually impaired people like me need more contrast.

With real intention and cordially asking, can you provide a reason why not? Does it have to do with the framework, UI implementation, source code integration? Maybe as a community of developers we could help out the HubSpot developers implement a dark mode. I really enjoy HubSpot, but the lighting is horrible on my eyes; especially, at night. Just a thought.

I agree with Trevor, on second thought, I was involved in a car accident that caused my to have multiple theapys for my concussion , my eyes and more. i couldn't look at a screen for. a month. the head ache would get sudked. with that said after my accident I went back to work after 5 months and I had to go dark mode all around me. the piercing headache I get from HubSpot because there isn't a dark mode is really sick. I use everything else in dark mode, but Hubspot won't get there. I work hard all day on a computer, and my team uses HubSpot, and it's becoming an issue. I think if HubSpot understood how valuable dark mode is, then I think they should figure it out. I've tried extensions but that make hubspot crash and hubspot doesn't like it . but someone coming from a head injury and I'm sure I'm not the only one
