When we create a custom object with associations, the associations don't appear in the "Modify Columns" part of a list view, so you can't view the associations in the list view.
For example, we have created a custom object "Contract" and each Contract which is associated with a Company. We have created a list view to show all Contracts and want to be able to see (and sort, filter etc) the Company associated which each Contract in the list view, but can't! With the standard objects such as deals, contacts etc, you can show the asscoiated company in the list view.
Is this a bug? Is there a workaround? Or have we done something wrong when setting up the Custom Object? Any help would be appreciated.
Agree, we want to be able to sort and do reports based upon the company ID or flexible association Labels so we can see how many custom objects (communities) are under specific companies.
Is this really still not a feature? It seems bizarre that I can't create a custom object and then create a report that will sort and filter that custom object by its associated company.
Any status updates on this? What exactly does Hubspot believe is the value of creating custom objects if you cannot report on this data? Why is this crippiling limitation not identified upfront before customers go through the effort and expense of creating custom objects?
Custom objects really need to work much more like the standard objects. Almost every problem I've run into this week has been because "custom objects dont do that - but please submit a suggestion."
@TiphaineCuisset Has there been any update to this request in the past year?
It's very confusing to have the ability to see other Associations columns in a Contact list view and not the Custom Object Associations. This seems really straight forward. We just need to see a count of records -- and be able to sort contacts that have the association. This request also affects Contact filters. You should be able to filter by any type of association -- not just those that come standard with HubSpot.
Please prioritize this request. It's preventing productivity for ourselves and a number of our clients.

Just to confirm, does HubSpot's ecommerce bridge not associate with custom objects? We are trying to clean up our subscriptions with the use of custom objects and that would mean each subscription is tied to a deal and a contact.
How are other users implementing custom objects specifically for subscription businesses?
Is this still the case? Trying to link 2 custom objects together, so one can be linked the same as the Deal, Company, Contact, etc. and be selected when creating or editing the record.
