Custom action (eg: open a URL tied to the contact)

I'd like to let our sales people click a link on a CRM contact and it'd open that contacts account for our product. I basically just need a button that'll open "https://mysite.com/contact-email" in the CRM record somewhere.

Is this possible? Feel like there must be tons of simple actions sales people want to take within a CRM

You can create a contact custom property, and add that property in the about section under a contact. You can update this property either manually or via workflow.

Hi @PClark6,

This can be achieved with a custom property of the type 'single-line text'. HubSpot recognizes links in this field type and they become clickable within the CRM. You can create such a custom property by following these steps.

For easy access, once created I would recommend placing this property in the left sidebar of the contact record: Customize record sidebars and preview cards

After completing the two steps above, you can either fill in this link manually for each contact (in the left sidebar) or import this information. You could also consider establishing an integration with your product that populates this field automatically, via the HubSpot API, an automation solution like Zapier or another data sync tool.
